EXETER, NH – Alice P. Wysocki, 87, of Exeter NH, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in Exeter Hospital, after a sudden illness.

She was born on February 23, 1926 in Amherst MA, the daughter of the late Alexander J. Wysocki and Anna Silvonic Wysocki.  She attended Amherst schools.  Alice graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1948, with a BS in Chemistry.  She spent her working career as a research chemist, working for a short time in Easthampton MA, with the balance of her career in Boston MA.  She retired to Exeter NH in 2007.

Alice enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her two sisters, Sophie T. Sadoski of South Deerfield MA, and Anne W. Rogers of Amherst MA.

She leaves two nephews, Peter Sadoski of Logan Utah and James Rogers of Hadley MA, and one niece, Nancy Singleton of Stratham NH, as well as their families.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 29, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Brigid’s Church, Amherst with burial following in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Hadley. A Calling Hour will precede Mass from 8:45 – 9:45 a.m. at the Douglass Funeral Service, Amherst. Obituary and memorial register at www.douglassfuneral.com.
