Janice E. Scott

HADLEY – Janice E. Scott, 92, of Mt. Warner Road died October 29 at home with her family.

Born May 8, 1921 in Fairfield, Connecticut, Janice was the daughter of the late Wilson and Elva Schwartz.

She was a graduate of the New HavenTeachers College in Connecticut.  She lived for many years in Monroe, Connecticut and taught public school in neighboring Trumbull for over 20 years.          

Janice was the wife of Lewis H. Scott, who preceded her in death in 2002.  She will be deeply missed by her two sons, Russell Scott, and his wife Regina, of Williamsburg and David Scott of Hadley; a daughter Elizabeth Montgomery, and her husband Timothy, of Belchertown and her grandchildren Ryan, Caitlin and Lauren.

A celebration of her life will take place at the North Hadley Congregational Church, today, Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Obituary and memorial register at www.douglassfuneral.com.
